Diving involves playing with loads of kit. You know that, having bought it all and carted it from the car down to the boat/shore. I get a bit irritated by people who spread their kit around like they own the whole boat. Keeping your kit tidy and together is a sign of a good diver and contributes to the safety of yourself and others. Why?
BCD members are pretty good at keeping their kit organised and together but we all see people who leave stuff lying around. It gets under foot, takes up space and is a hazard to all. Keep your kit tidy. You know where it is and that it has not been damaged. It'll also make kitting up for the next dive much easier and quicker. Also, think about other users of the shore. They don't want to be clambering over your dive kit.
